Big Shot Bliss

After blogging about my needle felting presents last week, this week I have been playing with my other Christmas present - the Big Shot. Again, I am an absolute beginner in using this, but having read Caroline's  and Kerri's posts and my fingers aching from individually cutting out little flowers I took the plunge! So this week I have been making
flower brooches
I am also making bigger flowers to use on felt bags and needle books

and I have started designing and making felt crowns - ready for the Jubilee and all the little princesses out there! There will also be a boy's version when my new die arrives all the way from America!

Don't I look lovely!

Pink flower crown
A short post as I am offer to wander through the hundreds of cutting dies listed on ebay!

Happy Handmade Monday everyone - why not go and visit some more brilliant blogs?

  3. How fun! I guess a Big Shot is something like my Cricut (but it cuts paper). I spend endless hours cutting things! :) I love your felt flowers, those look great. :)

  4. Loving the crowns - think I may need to indulge for my little ones - I'd need a pink for my 7 yr old and the boys option for my 3yr old son. Let me know when you're ready for orders!! Brooches look beautiful! Best wishes Linda x

It has cheered me up and made me smile on a particularly grotty night. Just love him.

  10. I've never used a big shot, it looks like fun and has lots of uses, I love the crowns.
I finally got my sewing machine out this week and finally decided what to make with the lovely fabric you sent me and I've 'almost' got my blog post organised re the Liebster award, did I post a thank you for that? No I don't think I did, how remiss of me, especially after one of your previous posts about 'thank you' notes. So I thank you now and will soon have my post sorted.

    Take care
