Autumn Muffins

Last week-end Pickle-Lily went blackberry picking with her friend. She came back with a lovely pot of juicy blackberries which she made into blackberry muffins.

They were gorgeous - and didn't last long! The recipe has got to be the easiest muffin recipe ever - and is on the Bakes... page. We then made blueberry muffins Sunday morning as well - they were all eaten by tea time!

    They look extremely yummy! i think fruit adds something special to cake. Or is it the other way round?

    I have a terrible weakness - cakes - so I am typing this with my eyes shut. lol
    We are very lucky in that there are masses of blackberries right outside our back gate, always have tons in the freezer.

    they look yummy. Big problem for me is when baking cakes, just have to try one (or two, or) when they are just out of the oven. Then realise not many left, so perhaps one more won't hurt. Nice to be able to use fruits of the forest in your baking too.

    I love warm muffins so they wouldn't last long with me either.
    Fruit picking is great fun, 2 for the pot, 1 for me :o)

    blackberries, blackberries, blackberries! i seem to see blackberries everywhere! blogs, recipes, tesco shelves, pies, muffins... mmmm and your muffins made me even more craving for my own blackberry bakes! aaaaah, im desperate to find some wild bushes for my berry picking :)
